The Breakfast Club held its annual spring gathering at Alpine Country Club on April 11. The featured guest was USA Today Bestselling author Cate Holahan, who recently penned the thriller The Widower’s Wife. Holahan, a Bergen County resident and critically acclaimed writer whose previous works include Lies She Told and Dark Turns, enthralled the audience as she discussed her books and early career as an award-winning journalist writing for The Record, The Boston Globe and BusinessWeek. Funds raised through this special event benefit Heel the Soul, a program that provides resources and support to women battling serious illness at Englewood Health.
